Clinical Expertise

Third Opinion is physician-founded by Dr. John Croghan MD and Dr. Phil Sheridan MD, both concierge medicine practitioners and serial healthcare informatics entrepreneurs. Dr. Croghan and Dr. Sheridan co-founded ECIN in 1995, which was sold to Allscripts (now Veradigm) in 2007. They also own and actively practice at Dedication Health in North Chicago.

Third Opinion's technology is led by CTO Ken Sheppard, who spent 9 years as the VP of Architecture, Security, and Technology at Practice Fusion + Veradigm. Ken has deep expertise in healthcare technology security controls and legislations.
